Fix cropped artwork and titles in portrait videos

• If portrait format crops a title or face, fix the background composition first.
• The background fills the frame. Add margins in an image editor to keep the whole cover visible.
• Visualizer controls cannot move embedded text. If only the visualizer is cropped, adjust its position and size.

1. Identify what is being cropped

In Setup → Format, select the format you need. For example, switch from 16:9 to 9:16 for a portrait version. Inspect the title, face and visualizer separately.

• If the title or face is cut off, revise the background composition.
• If only the visualizer is cut off, use Adjust → Size & position.
• If both are cut off, fix the background first so you do not have to position the visualizer twice.

2. Prepare artwork that fits the portrait frame

The background fills the output frame. A landscape image can lose its left and right edges in portrait. Position X moves the visualizer, not the track title inside your artwork.

Use an image editor to prepare a portrait background. For example, place the entire cover on a 1080 × 1920 canvas and fill the space above and below with a background color. Keep the title large enough to read at phone size.

Open Setup → Background image and choose Choose image, or Replace image if you have already selected your own image. Adding margins or moving embedded text must be done in the image editor.

3. Position the visualizer in clear space

Once the artwork fits, use Adjust → Size & position to move the visualizer into the free space and keep strong movement clear of the title. See visualizer placement for the controls.

4. Check a short MP4

Select a short Clip range and export an MP4. When comparing landscape and portrait versions, keep the source start and end points identical.

View the saved portrait file at phone size. Also inspect the destination's upload preview, because interface buttons and descriptions can cover different areas. Increasing resolution cannot restore a cropped title.
