Terms of Use
The conditions for using the Sonoray website and browser-local audio visualizer.
Last updated: August 15, 2026.
Agreement to these terms
By using the Sonoray website or editor, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Sonoray provides browser-based tools for creating audio-reactive visual media and MP4 exports. The service is evolving, and its features, limits, browser compatibility, and availability may change.
Accounts
The editor remains available without a customer account. If you create an account, provide accurate account information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. The current account does not store your selected media or browser-local presets. We may add purchases and opt-in preset synchronization in the future under updated terms and privacy disclosures.

Your media and rights
You may use Sonoray only with media that you own or are authorized to process. You retain your rights in your media and exported work. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions, licenses, releases, or other rights needed to use source media and publish an export.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sonoray in a way that:
- violates applicable law or the rights of others;
- attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
- interferes with, disrupts, overloads, or harms the service or its security; or
- uses the service to distribute malware, fraudulent material, or other harmful content.
Exports and publishing
You are responsible for reviewing each exported file before publishing, sharing, or relying on it. Export speed, quality, compatibility, and playback can vary based on the device, browser, operating system, source media, selected settings, and available storage.
Keep copies of original media and any important settings. Closing the browser tab, allowing the device to sleep, or interrupting a browser export may prevent the export from completing.
External services
Your browser, device, hosting provider, social platform, and any configured contact service may have their own terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with them when using Sonoray or publishing an export.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of Sonoray when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, or evolve the service. We do not guarantee that every feature or media format will work on every device or browser.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sonoray is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You are responsible for deciding whether an export is suitable for your intended use. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or legal rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Updates to these terms
We may update these Terms as Sonoray changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision. Continuing to use Sonoray after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
