Consistent video design with presets

Reuse Sonoray presets for a consistent video series. Name settings by purpose, save and apply them, then check each new recording.

Consistent color, visualizer shape and placement can make separate videos feel like one series. Sonoray presets reuse visual settings; they are not a storage service for the source audio, background images or completed MP4s.

Separate constants from episode-specific choices

Decide which shape, colors, size and position should remain familiar across episodes. Treat the source, background image and excerpt as choices to verify each time. Names such as “Series name, landscape” help distinguish settings intended for different formats.

Build a reference with representative material

Use a typical source and background in the Editor. Play quiet and strong passages before settling on placement. Settings tuned only to an unusually quiet episode may produce excessive movement with another recording.

Save the settings to a Pro account

Check the available preset feature and account state, give the preset a useful name and save the current settings. Confirm the saved status. Reusing settings does not imply that source media or exported files were uploaded with them.

For the next job, choose the required local audio and background, then apply the preset. Check the new recording's start and end points separately.

Name presets for their purpose

Names such as “Show A · landscape · dark artwork” and “Show A · portrait · light artwork” identify the intended layout before you apply it. Enter the preset name, choose Save current and confirm it appears in the saved list.

For the next episode, select its audio and artwork, then apply the relevant preset. Set CLIP RANGE for the new content. Applying a preset does not restore the previous episode's media.

Compare the new result with the reference

Save a short sample and compare it with a reference video. Matching colors and placement do not guarantee an equally good composition: audio strength and background content still vary. Make episode-specific adjustments when the movement hides important information.

A landscape layout may also need different placement in portrait. Use separate, clearly named settings where necessary. Check current plan information for available saving features.
