Long audio video export checklist

Prepare a long audio-to-video export: set the range, check plan limits, test a short sample and inspect the saved file.

A long audio export benefits from preparation before rendering starts. A successful short test does not prove that a long file will take the same amount of time or always complete under different conditions.

Decide whether you need the full recording

Choose between a complete listening experience and a short introduction. For full-length output, inspect the beginning and ending silence. For an excerpt, choose boundaries that preserve a complete phrase or thought. Check the plan duration limit shown in the editor before committing to the job.

Approve the visual treatment in a short test

Set the background and visualizer in the Editor. Save a short section containing strong audio. Check clipping, title readability and sound before spending time on the full export.

Prepare the device for the session

Sonoray processes the export in the browser. Keep it open and prevent the device from sleeping. Check power and available storage, and finish unnecessary heavy workloads. Closing the tab does not hand the job to a server that completes it later.

Use the quality the output actually needs

The highest resolution is not necessary for every viewing context. Compare at the intended display size and choose a setting that preserves essential detail. Duration, resolution, source media and device performance all affect processing, so avoid promising a completion time by simple extrapolation from a short test.

Pro provides longer exports, additional expression and convenience features. It is not a guarantee of faster processing. Consult the current plan information for available limits.

Limit what changes between the sample and full export

After a successful sample, keep the artwork and visualizer unchanged and extend only CLIP RANGE. Check the selected duration against the plan limit before pressing Download. Raising resolution and changing several effects at the same time makes the sample less useful as a comparison.

Before starting, distinguish files already saved from work still in progress and check free storage. Allow time to keep the device open; completion time depends on the device and project.

Inspect the completed file

Play the beginning, middle and end of the saved MP4. Confirm the intended range, audio and background. If it fails, note the stage and settings, then use a short test to narrow the problem before repeating the entire recording.
